Building a Brand at Celebrity Speed
Hard Launching SJP’s New Relationship
VIZZ didn’t just need a campaign. It needed a brand. We were introducing an entirely new product to the world, with no established voice, no approved legal copy, and a first-time advertiser learning the process alongside us.
At the heart of it was a deceptively straightforward insight: blurry near vision doesn’t stop your life; it interrupts it in small, frustrating, relatable ways. The menu you can’t quite read. The text that needs another look. Tiny inconveniences that break the flow of life and can make you feel old just when you’re hitting the prime of life.
Our idea of simple life with VIZZ is a life uninterrupted.
We brought that promise to life through Sarah Jessica Parker, creating a world with the optimism, charm, and subtle Y2K New York rom-com energy she embodies so naturally. Rather than dwelling on the problem, we showed the freedom on the other side of it: a perfect day flowing effortlessly from one moment to the next.
The production was anything but straightforward. We had only a few weeks from brief to final delivery, a tightly controlled celebrity union shoot, and just a few hours with SJP to capture a year’s worth of campaign assets. At the same time, we were building the VIZZ brand, developing its voice and legal language, navigating soft-pharma claims and approvals, and getting it all ready to meet the world.
Was the idea straightforward? Yes. Was it effective? Extremely. The integrated campaign drove a 700% increase in adoption.
